Sonya Brophy

My clinical focus is working with adults, typically those between 35 and 65 years old. I only work with individuals. Before working in outpatient therapy, I worked in medical social work and for crisis lines, and my background in these areas informs my clinical practice. I use SFBT, ACT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies with my clients.

I believe my role as a therapist is to empower my clients. I hope to work with a client for an episode of care, and then proudly see them graduate from therapy. I focus primarily on individuals with anxiety or trauma, but I will see some clients with other concerns.

I enjoy exploring both mountain and desert climates year-round through camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking. I am a big fan of table-top games and a lifelong fan of Star Trek.
