Sarah Coburn

Sarah Coburn earned her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Denver and her Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Sarah is currently a Social Work Candidate working towards licensure in the state of Colorado.

Sarah practices from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective. She believes in a holistic approach and a systems view. Sarah knows that her clients are the experts of their own experience.

Sarah’s own process with chronic illness and trauma, and the depression, anxiety, and grief that come with those experiences, drew her to this work. Sarah is particularly drawn to working with those who suffer from endometriosis and related conditions. Sarah understands that emotional support, being seen, and being heard are critical to sitting with and moving through, both the joys and the sorrows of this life.

Outside of the therapy room, Sarah enjoys working and riding on her small ranch with her husband and dogs, Sophie and Muddy. She also enjoys hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and paddleboarding (like most people in Colorado!).
