ABOUT
Growing up as a Latina child in a family of 10 led me to a worldview of, “Everyone is more than what the world labels and views them as.” My practice is rooted in cultural humility, connection, and compassion, with a focus on the client as the expert in their life. Breaking generational trauma cycles, guiding clients on emotional regulation, and working through the uncomfortable aspects of life can help a child thrive in all aspects of their life.
Through education, training, and life as a parent, I have learned how to incorporate CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy, suicide assessment and interventions, and navigating school systems all through a trauma-informed lens. Every person is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all method for walking through life’s challenges. Asking for help can be hard, and I am so happy you are here. Every family has the ability to grow, and I am here to help along the way.
