ABOUT
Parents want what’s best for their children, especially during their most important stages of development. But parenting can be a challenging job, particularly when a child experiences anxiety, struggles to adjust to tricky situations, or has trouble sleeping at night. These issues can lead to stress and frustration for both parents and children, and I understand how overwhelming those challenges can be.
As a child therapist, I specialize in working with children and adolescents to help them identify and build on their strengths to overcome difficulties. By taking a strength-based approach, I empower children to navigate their big emotions in a positive way. This not only fosters a positive self-image but also leads to remarkable improvements in their behavior at school, at home, and with friends.
It’s normal to feel overwhelmed when your child is struggling, but you are not alone. Together we can break the cycle of meltdowns, unwanted calls from school, and feelings of helplessness. I provide a safe, judgment-free space for children to process their emotions, and I am committed to supporting parents every step of the way. I would love to work with your family — please reach out to schedule an appointment.
