ABOUT
Peyton views her role as a therapist as a guide and a connector. Peyton believes that every person has an inner wisdom and are the only true experts on their lives. Her approach is person-centered, with her goal being to empower clients to trust their inner knowing. Peyton recognizes the important role relationships have in our lives and has a passion for helping clients work through relationship issues and work toward living a values-aligned life.
Peyton understands the frustration of feeling like you’ve tried everything and already have a heightened sense of self-awareness. She creates a therapy space that is collaborative, non-judgemental, and culturally competent. Peyton gently challenges clients to see new perspectives, increase curiosity about themselves and others, and make space for multiple truths in their lives to coexist.
Peyton utilizes evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, and Non-Violent Communication to guide clients toward positive change.
Starting therapy can be intimidating. Therapy with Peyton is a welcoming space to foster a connected and authentic relationship, one where you feel heard and respected.
