Abby Carlin-Le

I am an art therapist licensed in New Mexico and Colorado. My approach is rooted in compassion, non-judgment, curiosity, and the importance of how we make meaning in our lives. I see that healing happens within genuine relationships, and that the client is the expert of their own life. And when one part of a system — a family, siblings, a couple — changes, it affects the whole system. My work emphasizes that when we shine a light on what was once in the dark, within a safe container, hope and healing can be found.

Utilizing art, play, acknowledgment of grief and loss, and thoughtful conversations, I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where clients are encouraged to explore and make skillful decisions in their lives while orienting toward their strengths, values, and resources. As an art therapist, I see the benefit for people of all ages and experiences in using art to regulate, express, and explore wherever they are in their journey. Sessions are not art class, nor is art experience necessary.

I am passionate about helping people cultivate hope and realize their potential. I am also available for Christian-based counseling if requested.
