Message From Sarah

Being a parent is hard and comes with many challenges. I believe that supporting children and adolecents in changing his/her/their perceptions of the perceived challenging events and thoughts in his/her/their lives can lead to better parent/child relationships as well as school and after school sport success. Part of this puzzle of discovering a child’s symptoms is discovering the symptoms as a dys-regulated nervous system. My goal in providing therapy is to support the child/adolscent/ young adult and parent in getting in touch with the authentic self; who we truly are rather than who the world thinks we should be. If you are reading this, you may be feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. I specialize in helping youth, teens, young adults and parents find balance and renewed connection with themselves and family relationships, using evidence-based practices to create a safe and nurturing space for healing and growth.
